The new outdoor slab and canopy area provides an open-air workspace as well as a large area to house sculpture work.

The exterior work includes a new main entrance onto campus, new parking spaces, and a brick paved and concrete courtyard that brings the campus to life and will be used as an entertainment and event space.

McCownGordon completed extensive sitework including the installation of a new storm sewer system and holding tanks in the middle of campus, as well as new landscaping.

Along with the studio, McCownGordon also renovated the Ceramics Building, which consisted of installing a mezzanine level creating new work/fabrication space for ceramics students.
