When the 2020 pandemic hit and most associates were forced to work remotely, our preparation created a seamless transition for McCownGordon clients. 

Every associate already had access to and training on the digital tools and connectivity that became essential in 2020. An upfront investment in virtual private network (VPN) capacity, coupled with laptops and tablets, allowed remote workers to be up and running in the time it took them to drive home, ensuring no delays in project schedules. 

On jobsites, already fully functional with onsite technology and tablets, the company employed technology like weekly drone deployments to track construction to schedules and analyze excavation progress, 360 photography to map construction progress in enclosed buildings while also capturing mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure locations, and 24/7 access to all photography, drawings, and other project details via our client portal solution..
