The Indian Creek Library offers the community a non-traditional library experience focused on coming together.

The community space features open concepts, engagement, development and creativity, and includes gaming rooms, a maker’s space, recording studio, interior courtyard with fireplace, a teen zone and a café.

The façade underwent extensive work to create interior daylight to the former retail space that had very little. The exterior includes varying finishes of aluminum that change throughout the day and seasons and also function as a sunshade for interior spaces. Another challenge was the addition of clerestory spaces and the courtyard that was cut in the center of the building. The courtyard provides a place to gather and hold events. It will connect it to a future city park.
