The St. Francis pharmacy relocation consisted of renovating 6,700 square feet of existing office space within the hospital into a production pharmacy adhering to the updated requirements of USB 797 and 800. This project was surrounded by occupied spaces, including infusion bays, that remained open throughout construction. During the project, the electrical, mechanical and plumbing was installed to bring utilities into the space. Additionally, new air handlers and exhaust fans were placed on the roof of the facility. It was important to be cognizant of their infection control requirements and having minimal impacts to the owner during construction, our team met all requirements and turned over a successful project. With our extensive background in constructing pharmacy spaces, our team understands the importance of secured access, maximizing operational efficiency and bringing minimal distractions from construction.
