Construction included extensive earthwork, underground storm detention and the installation of bulk nitrogen gas storage tanks. The facility houses sensitive equipment with tight tolerance for vibration, humidity, temperature and moisture and includes durable, laboratory-grade finishes with acid resistance. Specific spaces within the building required a pre-action fire suppression system making proactive coordination critical. The building’s modern exterior complements the other structures within the research park.
The project team’s focus on schedule, budget and the incorporation of all tenant-required items within the feasibility budget maximized the program for the KDA. As one of multiple projects for the KSU Foundation, the team is proud to continue an unparalleled level of service.Â
