POET, SDSU, South Dakota Mines break ground on new Bioproducts Institute

Officials with POET, South Dakota State University and South Dakota Mines broke ground Wednesday morning on the new POET Bioproducts Institute at the SDSU Research Park.
The new 45,000 square foot facility is located at 2301 Research Park Way in Brookings, and will bring researchers from SDSU and Mines together with industry partners to transition bench-scale bioprocessing and bioproducts research to the marketplace. POET is a global leader in the production of bioproducts.
