By September of the same year, they broke ground to make necessary updates to accommodate growth and modernize their facilities for their first major improvement in 50 years.
East Elementary School included the addition of classrooms, shelter and security improvements and the ability to have preschool classes housed in the same facility.
Republic County Jr./Sr. High School included a new roof and HVAC system, addition of classrooms, science lab and FACS lab, shelter, secure entryways, a multipurpose room and wrestling gymnasium.
All work was completed in occupied facilities and allowed the schools to be ready for fall 2019. Our on-site team had student and faculty safety as their top priority and coordinated with the school on a regular basis to not disrupt the day-to-day activity of the occupied building.
