We are excited for the upcoming year, as it holds a wealth of promising possibilities.

Sending Gratitude

In Honor of Our Clients & Partners

At McCownGordon, we firmly believe that nurturing our communities is as vital as the work we do. Many organizations rely on our continued support to fulfill their missions. In recognition of our clients and partners, we have made generous contributions to the following organizations:

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of African-American baseball and its impact on the social advancement of America. The NLBM has become one of the most cultural institutions in the world for its work to give voice to a once forgotten chapter of baseball and American history.

Minnie’s Food Pantry provides healthy meals, educational resources, and the red-carpet treatment to every person they serve. Their ultimate goal is to provide numerous programs that help families gain long-term food security and to break the generational curse of people (especially children) in low-income areas not having access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center believes every child deserves rich and diverse museum experiences. Medical Warriors, a program at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, is designed to allow medically fragile children or those battling life-limiting illnesses to come to the museum after-hours for private play time.

The HumanKind Ministries provides outreach, shelter, affordable housing, basic needs, and supportive services to those experiencing housing insecurities or poverty in Sedgwick County, Kansas. From homeless to home, and beyond, they are committed to helping all find their way— providing not only hope, but an opportunity to start again. By recognizing the inherent value of each person, they serve the region’s most vulnerable with compassion and, in doing so, strengthen the entire community.

Common Table is a collaboration of churches offering free community meals to the hungry in Manhattan, Kansas. They share best practices, concerns, and insights to help offer meals every night of the week by bringing in more partners and expanding the capacities of the partners they already have. They began by offering three dinners per week but have now expanded their capacity to serve dinner every evening, along with multiple breakfasts and sack lunches throughout the week.
