Basehor-Linwood’s school district has seen significant growth in recent years allowing the district to bring their vision for expansion to reality. The district selected McCownGordon to be the construction manager at risk for the high school and elementary school renovations and additions.

At Basehor-Linwood High School, a new addition houses the career and technical education program where students are able to graduate with industry-recognized certificates. A metal maintenance building and additional parking stalls rounded out the high school upgrades.

At Basehor Elementary, the team provided two classroom additions, a storm shelter, front entrance and secure entry addition, classroom renovation, exterior facade improvements, and HVAC equipment replacement.
