The realization of MTN’s vision was made possible through a collaborative effort between McCownGordon and Control Service Company (CSC). The core objective was to seamlessly align MTN’s organ and tissue recovery coordination with an efficient infrastructure. This intricate task involved meticulous synchronization of various systems, encompassing HVAC and lighting.
Within the facility, advanced technology plays a pivotal role. A well-coordinated interplay between a water-cooled chiller, boilers, and heat recovery chiller ensures a consistent supply of chilled and heating hot water for Air Handling Units and terminal devices. Post-construction, McCownGordon, in partnership with CSC, takes charge of monitoring-based commissioning and optimization services. The implementation of Fault Detection Diagnostics (FDD) ensures smooth operations, evident through monthly utility bill analyses. These efforts lead to cost savings, an extended equipment lifespan, and the fine-tuning of systems and schedules to align with the building’s specific requirements.
As the general contractor for the renovation, McCownGordon orchestrated the entire transformation, with commissioning services designed to optimize the building’s performance. This ongoing process of efficiency enhancement harmonizes with the building’s functionality, resulting in increased resilience.
