To meet the needs of the 21st century students and continued growth, the Hogan Preparatory Academy selected McCownGordon to build a state-of-the-art replacement high school. The goals of Hogan Preparatory Academy consisted of designing a modernized high school which met the technological and flexible space needs of students today.

McCownGordon prioritized communication with the owner by providing monthly updates consisting of photos and descriptions of progress. This gave the client an opportunity to share and promote the construction progress on social media, which was used as a helpful tool for updating the students and parents.

The preconstruction team provided the client with multiple value engineering options to get the project within budget. The new building features innovative amenities. McCownGordon was able to assist in increasing the high school capacity by 20%, while also taking future growth of the school into consideration.

The new high school gives the students at Hogan Prep High School an opportunity to learn in a more engaging learning environment, promoting individualism, social-emotional health, and academic success.
