McCownGordon Expands Manufacturing Team, Builds on its Life Science Expertise

McCownGordon added Brandon Hiatt as Director of Business Development in its National Manufacturing Business Unit. Brandon brings extensive experience in the industry to the company’s growing manufacturing team and will focus on the life sciences vertical market, leveraging the organization’s deep portfolio in the space to serve clients renovating and building new facilities.

Our background serving industry leading clients in this arena dovetails with Brandon’s expertise and provides new opportunities for our team,” said Jeff Roy, senior vice president of the company’s national manufacturing business unit. “Brandon will focus extensively on Dallas-Fort Worth and the central region initially, leveraging our experts from that office and our unique construction-led design build approach to serve our DFW and regional clients.”

Hiatt brings deep vertical market experience, including working in operations before moving into a business development role for one of the nation’s largest manufacturing engineering firms. His strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries includes leading teams that grew revenue significantly while also expanding the company’s consulting operations. In his new role at McCownGordon, he’ll work with the manufacturing team to further leverage the company’s deep experience in the area to expand its work portfolio.

Active in the community, Hiatt serves on the Rocky Mountain International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Board for six years and served as the membership committee chair. He’s a member of the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), Colorado Bioscience and the Society for Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS). He earned a B.S. in construction management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
