Design build saves a lot of time and trouble when I can look at somebody (architect, project manager, engineer or superintendent) in the room and say, ‘Why would I want this instead of this?’ or ‘What were the consequences of going that direction versus that direction?’ And not only do I get the functional answer but I get the money answer.
