During preconstruction, the building was designed 8,000 square feet over the original plan, so McCownGordon assisted in the redesigning process. McCownGordon also worked through cost options when the project was over budget on bid day due to market escalation, specifically steel. The team went through multiple cost options and was successful in getting the project back in budget while keeping the alternates.

The project challenges to date include a 16-foot tall concrete wall spanning over 300 feet in length requiring shoring and a 17-month schedule duration. The McCownGordon team has offered creative solutions to these challenges throughout the construction process and has kept the project on schedule.
