Upon entering the garden, visitors are greeted by an illuminated wall of stone and granite pavers that display names of long-time supporters of law enforcement. As visitors proceed along the path, lush landscaping, bench seating and unique design elements such as a leaning retaining wall corridor add to the experience. The next feature is a glass wall memorial that displays names of fallen law enforcement. This area also provides a staging area with seating for educational presentations and tours for large groups.

After leaving the glass wall, visitors enter the meadow area that is a circle walking path around art sculptures and features in support of the 1% for art program. The path then takes you to an open area of trees and picnic tables providing a space to rest, eat lunch or gather. This is the main donor area where donors will support the effort by displaying their name next to a tree or table.

Paths are illuminated throughout and many design elements incorporate light allowing pedestrians and visitors to enjoy the garden day and night. The garden is heavily landscaped and irrigated providing a year-round space for the community
