Completed in partnership with the City of Lee’s Summit, LANE4 Property Group and Biederman Redevelopment Ventures, the project reflects the continued revitalization of the district and establishes a central gathering place that captures the community’s growth and character.
Active Event Hub
At the center of the development is a permanent four-season farmers market and event space supported by an outdoor performance lawn, flexible event areas and a redesigned streetscaped pavilion. These community amenities now serve as an active hub for local commerce and year-round events such as weddings, festivals and neighborhood celebrations. The project also delivered significant public infrastructure improvements, including upgraded streets, stormwater systems and improved utilities that support long-term city operations and future growth.
Green Street’s identity is shaped by its distinctive wickets and an overhanging canopy that enhance pedestrian movement and give the development a memorable visual signature. These features work with intentional placemaking strategies to create a welcoming environment that encourages walkability, creativity and daily community interaction.
