Kansas State University selected McCownGordon to complete their Chilled Water Plant Expansion project. The new system expands the chilled water generation capacity, increases the distribution system required to deliver the chilled water, and connects additional new and existing buildings to the system.

The project includes new chilled water distribution pipe throughout campus and new steam tunnel and lines to feed the College of Business.

The scope also included MEP renovations to multiple campus buildings to increase energy efficiencies within the HVAC systems.
