Located north of the Panasonic electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant, this fire station is part of a $15 million infrastructure investment plan aimed at enhancing safety and supporting the area’s growth. The facility will feature 40 parking spaces, 10 bunks, and four bays for firefighters and EMTs. It will also include administration offices, a training classroom, and a fitness area.

The location of the Sunflower fire station will provide quicker response times to emergencies, significantly improving the overall safety and well-being of local residents. This new fire station will not only accommodate the anticipated developments in De Soto but also bolster protection for the community, ensuring safe growth for years to come.
