Our team was selected as CMAR early in the design and planning phase to assist in budgeting, design development and permitting/planning process. The new facility includes operating rooms, administrative offices, patient rooms, a clinic, an imaging department, laboratory, cafeteria and support spaces.
The new ground-up, two-story structure was built with steel frames on a concrete slab on grade, concrete elevated deck on steel beams and insulated roof deck on bar joints. The exterior walls are a combination of patterned precast panels with brick and natural stone veneer and glass curtain wall. An automatic entrance system located at the lobby and ED ambulance entry ensures the hospital’s security. Our team made abiding by the healthcare industry’s strict construction protocols and sterilization a top priority. Rock Regional Hospital will open in spring 2019.
