When the academy needed new space to expand their programming, they turned to El Dorado and McCownGordon to design and build their new home.
The renovated space, located in Westport, is a former education wing of a local church building. The 1950s-era annex is designed to include eight classrooms, staff offices, an entry lounge, break room, and school gym. The new lounge area is a hub for the school with an open floor plan and decorative pendant lights.
Renovations to the space included some demolition work, new framing and walls, upgraded MEP systems, new exterior windows, skylights, and all new finishes from flooring to light fixtures and paint.
