The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Kansas State University was completed almost 60 years ago and needed to go through a major overhaul in order to stay competitive for another 60 years. This project includes an addition and a renovation. The addition includes a new two story dorm wing connecting to the existing fraternity, increasing the capacity from 54 to 92 residents.
The interior renovations includes architectural finishes throughout the building as well as refurbishing existing dining, chapter and study rooms. McCownGordon will also help create an interior atrium space with four large skylights.
Some outdoor renovations include adding a new basketball court, updating brick facade and installing new windows.
