KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 12, 2018) Ramin Cherafat is filling a big and shiny pair of shoes, succeeding the inimitable Pat McCown as CEO as their fast-growing construction firm transitions from McCown and co-founder (and Power 100 honoree) Brett Gordon.
Cherafat joined in 2000, about a year after the company’s founding. It has grown from 15 employees and $15 million in annual revenue to 320 workers and an $800 million backlog. The firm’s high-profile recent projects include the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood and the University of Kansas’ new Health Education Building.
Like his predecessor in the seat, Cherafat professes an affection for doing what’s right for employees, clients and the community.
