KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 18, 2017) McCownGordon Construction has advanced several associates to roles of great responsibility and service to the organization. “McCownGordon is committed to providing opportunities for personal growth and development for all associates,” said Ramin Cherafat, chief operations officer for McCownGordon. Our latest group of associates to receive promotions have demonstrated significant leadership capabilities, as well as an ability to think strategically and focus on the needs of our clients and partners.”
Nancy Whitworth has been named vice president, strategic services. Whitworth reports directly to the chief executive officer and is driving the development and execution of services that support the firm’s core business including marketing and corporate communications, community relations and philanthropy, human resources and talent development. Prior to the promotion, Whitworth served as vice president, human resources.
Scott Richards has been named as one of the firm’s business unit leaders. Richards will focus on corporate and civic clients in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Richards previously served as a director of operations. He has more than twenty years of experience in the industry.
The firm has named several associates to director-level positions.
